Financing strategy
As the film will be shot in at least three different countries our options for the financing strategy are:
— A French co-production will bring approximately 20%
— A co-production with Brazil will bring approximately 10% to 15%
— A co-production with the United Kingdom will trigger a sale and lease back transaction and will bring approximately 15% of the budget.
— Financing by German film funds will be sought for approximately 20% of the budget.
— A co-production with Portugal will bring approximately 5%
— Eurimages should bring 5%
— Equity, deferments, foreign sales and gap financing should bring 20% to 25%
